The University Partnership on Plagiarism Prevention (PUPP) team, composed of 65 researchers and collaborators from various disciplines and countries, is looking for two PhD students starting September 2023. This is the perfect opportunity to study with a team that can train you.

 

THE PROJECT

The PUPP proposes a unique research project on teaching and learning digital scrapbooking strategies (DSS) to prevent plagiarism. DSS facilitate the search for information on the web, the integration of this information into the writing and the referencing of authors used in the production of academic work.

CONTEXT OF STUDY

We are looking for two students for a PhD project on the teaching and learning of DSS at the university level. Candidates will carry out their doctoral training with a director and a codirector within the interdisciplinary team of the PUPP. EMPLOYMENT CONTEXT

  1. Duration: 5 years
  2. Where: Université du Québec en Outaouais, Alexandre Taché Campus (on site).
  3. Tasks: Research tasks (writing, writing review, coding), attending PUPP meetings and more!
  4. Salary: $25,000.00/year

 REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY

  1. Hold a Master of Education and be enrolled in the PhD program in Education at l’UQO in September 2023.
  2. Speak, read and write in French and in English fluently.
