The Partnership on University Plagiarism Prevention (PUPP), composed of 70 researchers and collaborators from various disciplines and countries, is looking for two (2) postdoctoral fellows for September 2024. This is the perfect opportunity to gain research experience in a team that supports you.

THE PROJECT

The PUPP proposes a unique research project on teaching and learning digital scrapbooking strategies (DSS) to prevent plagiarism. DSS facilitate searching for information on the web, integrating this information in the writing process, and referencing authors in the production of academic work.

RESEARCH CONTEXT

We are seeking two postdoctoral fellows for a project on the current use and teaching of DSS at the university level. The candidates will complete their postdoctoral fellowship with an advisor and co-advisor within the PUPP interdisciplinary team. For more information on the PUPP: https://pupp.uqo.ca/en/home/

FELLOWSHIP DETAILS

  1. Duration: 2 years.
  2. Location: Université du Québec en Outaouais, Campus Alexandre-Taché, Gatineau (on site).
  3. Responsibilities: Research (data collection and analysis, scholarly publications and communications, supervision of research assistants, committee membership and more!).
  4. Salary: $60,000.00 CAD/year.

CONDITIONS TO APPLY

  1. Conferred PhD in Education.
  2. Be enrolled as a postdoctoral fellow at UQO for September 2024.
  3. Fluently speak, read, and write in both French and English.
